About
Dan Scott Forreal is a music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, painter/muralist, tattooer, and graphic artist. After spending seven years as the frontman and guitarist of Colorado-based electronic psych-funk band Miscomunicado, Dan began producing tracks for other artists as well as producing his own solo music. Soon after, he relocated to California where he attended UCLA for music production and mix engineering, while producing music for a television pilot/ web series, and working as the lead producer / musical director for Global Truth Center Los Angeles. Currently residing back in his hometown of Philadelphia, Dan is one half of Kewl Haze, a new, up-and-coming psychedelic rock duo with his writing partner Derek Sheehan, formerly of the band Weekender. Kewl Haze's long-awaited debut LP "Suburban Sherpa" (recorded with Matt Barrick) comes out April 2026. Dan also frequently works as a mix engineer and songwriter with Eraserhood Sound, the recording studio/record label out of Philadelphia that is currently behind some of Philly's most unique new artists. Lastly, Forreal is the sole producer behind the EDM/Glitch-Hop project, Full Hollow, who's debut LP is also due to be released in 2026.
